Vuba’s full resin-bound system has passed the rigorous BBA (British Board of Agrément) Technical Assessment. This certification confirms that their products meet high standards for product performance and manufacturing quality, including UV stability, scuff resistance, and strength against harmful substances . BBA is a rigorous and widely respected mark of product quality in the UK construction industry.
What it means: Independent, third-party validation of product durability, UV stability, scuff resistance, and chemical performance.

Independent tests have shown that Vuba’s Resin UVR binder achieves a flexural strength of 9.376 MPa, nearly double that of some competitors. Even moisture-exposed samples performed impressively, being almost 280% stronger than others. Additionally, the binder demonstrated zero texture loss in scuffing resistance tests, indicating exceptional durability .

Vuba is considered a superior resin-bound surfacing product due to its high
technical standards, including BBA (British Board of Agrément) certification
for durability, UV stability, and scuff resistance. It is specifically
engineered to be up to 42% stronger than standard resin-bound solutions,
significantly reducing the risk of cracking and allowing for 100% permeability.
Here is a breakdown of why Vuba is considered a superior product:
Technical Superiority & Certification: Vuba’s full system has passed the
rigorous BBA Technical Assessment, which is the highest standard in the resin
industry. Their resin has been tested to be up to 30%-42% stronger than
competitors, with specific formulations (MT resin) showing up to 5 times more
strength against moisture.
Engineered for Durability & Climate: Vuba systems are designed for
longevity, with a life expectancy of 20–25 years or more. They are UV-stable to
prevent yellowing. The systems are tested to withstand hundreds of freeze-thaw
cycles and extreme heat without degrading.

Vuba driveways are a minimum of 15mm application depth. Always ask to know what
each supplier proposes
Vuba Resin is UV stabilised. Nevertheless with Vuba Cyprus you get an
additional UV booster added to the mix to make sure the system is up to the
local UV levels
Vuba driveways are done with a combination of marble or quartz of a 1-5mm
diameter. In addition to this, the Vuba system adds a special clear fine quartz
sand in the mix, to make sure that even the tiniest gap is filled
Vuba uses 7.5 kgs of its superior resin per 100 kgs of stone, compared to 5 kgs
that most of the other systems use. This makes it by default 1.5 times stronger
Vuba uses a propriatary Structural Reinforcement Mesh (SRM) which significantly
restricts ground movement to reflect on the vuba top.

Benefits of Using Our Unique Resin Bound System
Flexibility
We use a Polyurethane Resin Binder because it is proven to allow more flexibility, this means it won’t crack if there are small movements or expansions
Enhanced UV protection
Our UVX component is added into each mix. Our polyurethane resin product is already UV protected but we have included UVX into the Middle Eastern market to add more protection from the sunlight and UV rays
Permeability
Our system is fully permeable, allowing water to drain through the surface. Together with its anti-slip quality this makes vuba an ideal surface for walkways, pool surrounds, stairs and patios.
Luxurious finish
Vuba uses marble aggregate because of it’s strength and luxury finish.
Added Strength
Vuba binding quartz will provide added slip and skid resistance for driveways and increases the strength of a resin bound screed by 42% in tests carried out by Vuba in accordance with BS EN 12390 - 3: 2009.
SRM
Vuba SRM is a structural reinforcement mesh, developed using technology to reinforce earth structures. Vuba SRM can be applied within resin bound surfaces and on top of surfaces, such as concrete, to mitigate movement and subsequent reflective cracking.
